Malaak Compton-Rock is such a Cubicle Chick! She is the wife of Chris Rock, mother, non-profit organizer/creator, and author! She also remains flawless while juggling all of those hats! Malaak’s new book, ‘If It Takes A Village–Raise One’ has been hailed by the critics and is a read that is a must in today’s society. I haven’t gotten the opportunity to read it yet, but I am hoping that Malaak’s people send me a copy! LOL.
The Salvation Army held a special book club luncheon today at Club 21 in New York City with Malaak Compton-Rock’s book being showcased. CNN correspondent and fellow Cubicle Chick, Soledad O’Brien was on hand to help announce Malaak to the prestigious audience and to help promote the Salvation Army during the event.
