(PICS) My Prom Daze-A Look Back At My Junior & Senior Proms

Prom season is in full swing! My son is a Sophomore, so he’s not participating in prom until NEXT year, but I do know that most high schools are having their proms during the next few weeks.

When I look back on my prom, I have mixed thoughts. I went to prom both my Junior and Senior years and I don’t remember having a lot of fun. After all of the preparation, the gown fittings, hours at the salon, and getting everything just right, I was beat and didn’t really enjoy myself.

While spending the afternoon with my grandmother yesterday, I found a few pics of both proms I attended and looked at the pictures with fondness. My hairdos were atrocious! But it was 1992 and 1993 prospectively, so for that time, I was hawt!

Feast your eyes on my prom-dom. What are your prom memories? Did you enjoy your prom? Comment below and let me know!

My BFF in high school and me, on the right before Junior prom. Ugh at the Shirley Temple curls. LOL
In front of my car. Yes, this was my first clunker. I wasn't allowed to wear heels but I snuck them to the dance anyway. So many memories! LOL
This was my Senior prom, my dress was the bomb although it's hard to see in these pics. My date for the night ended up being my son's father one year later.

Yes, my dear that is a Clunker. YIKES! Hey but a lot of people don’t even have a car in high school so you are also one of the lucky ones 🙂

That minivan/ stationwagon hybrid held 8 of my bestest friends comfortably. LOL. In 1992, it was the bomb!

Are you sure that is you in the first two pics? It doesn’t even look like you at all to me – holy cow! The last pic I can see you for sure in it. Love the details on the sleeve/shoulder on that last dress!

Qunitessential ’90s! I loved my prom dress so much that I’m always looking for a reason to wear it again. I was too young to be dressed so sexy anyway.
