Summer is almost here and soon we will be knee deep in tan lines, beach outings, mosquito bites, and flip flops. There is nothing like the summertime when the days are long and the nights are young. It is also a time when you set aside the heavy, musk scents of the winter and fall for more flirty and floral variations. Here is a list of my four favorite fragrances for the summer:
Clinique Happy-
After 15 years of being on the market, this still remains one of my favorite floral scents for the spring and summer. It’s light yet flavorful aura continues to make people ask what I am wearing after all of these years, and it only takes a few sprays and lasts all day. This is one of my top picks for the summertime.
J’adore L’eau-
I was given a sample of this fragrance a few months ago, and I fell in love with it. It’s white floral scent with hints of sheer elegance, will make you feel cool in the hottest of days. If you haven’t tried this scent, I suggest to you run, don’t walk, to your local Sephora and purchase it. You will be happy that you did. It’s fabulously Dior!
Vera Wang Princess-
Not only does Wang make impeccably beautiful wedding dresses, but she has created one of the most wonderful summer scent that has cross my nose. Vera Wang’s Princess scores because it is both light and heavy, sour yet sweet, and pleasant to everyone’s nose. It is a must have for your summer fragrance collection.
Marc Jacobs Daisy In the Air-
I passed on this fragrance the first time but when I smelled it a month or so later, I fell instantly in love. It’s the original staple fragrance with a pleasant twist that is perfect for the summer.
