Definition of a Yummy Mommy: a mother who is fabulous and fashionable and knows how to have a good time with and without her brood.
When I got an invite to visit the local fabulous boutique Dot Dot Dash with a few of St. Louis’s most haute-est mommies, I couldn’t push the RSVP button fast enough! You know a girl like me cannot pass up the chance to shop and gab it up with great company alongside food and wine so I was counting down the days!
I arrived first at Dot Dot Dash, the trendy boutique located in the heart of Clayton and was met with warm hugs by my friend, Ria Sharon from MyMommyManual.com. She’s the wonderful chick who invited me so I made sure to show her some extra love! Ria introduced me to the beautiful Alyson Garland, owner of Dot Dot Dash and the mom of three. She looked too good to have birthed three children.
I noshed on wine and cheese until a few of the other Yummy Mommies joined us. Melody, Kelli, Danielle, and Suzanne, all walked in the door looking like they were ready to hit someone’s catwalk—who said moms can’t turn heads?
After a brief introduction, we proceeded to find a few fashion finds for our hauls. I located the perfect cranberry wrap and slate colored lace tank that was amazing! Alyson has a knack for picking colors for her customers that complement the skin tone as well as the figure.
Not only did I find a wonderful cute outfit but I also got a rocking ring that is so unique, I had to have it. Ria pointed it out to me when I got there and she knows me so well accessory wise—I never put it down.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get any video footage of our haul (womp womp), but I do have a few pictures of this fantastic event.
Thank you to the wonderful group of ladies for including me in this fashion fiesta! Special hugs to both Ria and Alyson—you two rock my socks (oops, my stilettos!)
