Website Technical Difficulties and Things of that Nature

Hopefully you can see this post correctly. It has been brought to my attention about a week ago that my site has been loading weirdly on certain browsers when an article is posted. I am not sure the reason for this snafu, but I am beyond frustrated. Not being a web designer or someone familiar with the technical aspects of WordPress really blows, as I am not able to simply fix things on my own.

I also got word from Google last week via email that my site had been possibly hacked, and that they were putting a warning on their search engine when people search for my site. After doing some research, I found out that somehow, a company added text about prescription pills to my site’s header, so when you searched it, that description came up online. I had to contact my hosting company, who got rid of the hacked text and then had to submit my site for reconsideration through Google. Thankfully, that has been resolved and the warning was removed.

*SIGH*

So suffice to say, I’ve been in stressed out mode. And since my site is my bread and butter, when I have issues with it, it really begins to affect my mood—I have been in major bitch mode.

But there is some good news! I am in the middle of a massive overhaul and redesign of my site, which will get rid of the loading issues on my current design. In addition, the site will be more aesthetically pleasing to the eye, will be more user friendly, and hopefully will give readers a reason to stay around longer. I have had my current design for over a year, and even though it has really helped me in terms of my growth and visibility, it is time for a look and feel for the site.

So, I hope that you pardon my dust and continue to visit the site through the issues I am currently having with everything. The new site design should be completed and unveiled next week.

I think you will like the new look!
