I have always loved the decadence and artistic vision in the Dior commercials starring spokeswoman Charlize Theron. She is such a effortless visual chanteuse with impeccable cheekbones and a body made for couture. Dior always adds great music and channels old Hollywood glamour—its commercials are really almost too stunningly vulgar for television.
Last night during the red carpet coverage on E!, Dior debuted a new 1 minute and 31 second film starring Charlize that reflects a modern Hollywood debutante Grace Kelly, and even has an appearance by the late Marilyn Monroe. It is such a gorgeous commercial, and I can’t stop watching.
Filmed at the ‘Galerie des Glaces’ at the ‘Château de Versailles’, this confection of dreamy gold bliss is such an inspiration of refined elegance.
