‘Tis The Season: Five Amazing Holiday Party Looks

Written By: Style and Fashion Contributor, Coco Michelle

With everything going on during the busy Christmas season, the one thing you don’t need to worry about is what to wear to your holiday parties and get-togethers.  Unless you have a personal stylist it can be nerve-racking to pick out the right outfit. But with my styling tips you have one less thing to fret about because I’ve got your fashion blueprint for this holiday’s party season.

The Mission:

Five festive outfits for five completely different holiday events

The Rules:

Use 2 foundation pieces consisting of a crisp white blouse + a black pencil skirt in each look

The Five Looks:

*   After hours office party

Don’t waste your chance to network with other departments and make a great impression with the “higher ups”.  You don’t want to look too flashy but your definitely want to make a great impression with your chic fashion sense. Take your foundation pieces (crisp white blouse + a black pencil skirt) and pair them up with red lipstick and sexy, strappy sandals. Add a sequined jacket to your ensemble and you’ll be on track to snag that promotion!

*    Neighborhood cookie exchange

Skip the tacky Christmas sweater and add some red accents to your cookie exchange outfit.  Keeping in mind the 2 foundation pieces, just envision a festive plaid vest and black tights along with a pair of fur-trimmed, suede wedge boots.  Then add a pair of cute Christmas ornament earrings as you sip cocoa and nibble your holiday cookies.

*    Romantic couple’s dinner

For a special night out with your favorite couples, wear a chic tuxedo jacket (minus the bowtie) and add a hint of sophistication with sky-high pumps. Then pull out those special diamond stud earring that you only wear on very special occasions!

*     Christmas Eve church service

For Christmas Eve service, add a pair of cute kitten heels and a statement belt to your outfit.  Pull your hair back into a sleek ponytail and add some pretty hair accessories to complete the look.

*     New Year’s Eve at the jazz club

Ring in the New Year with glitz and glam by bringing back the red lips and sequined jacket from the office party. Then, pull out those sky-high pumps from the romantic couple’s dinner and recycle the hair accessories from Christmas Eve. Finish the look with some glittery red nail polish!

Happy Holidays!!
