And when it’s of the spoken word variety showing off some creativity, craftsmanship, and soul, it can make for fabulous entertainment.
One of my favorite shows, Lexus Verses and Flow returns to TV One on Saturday, August 16th for their fourth season. Host Laz Alonzo returns to facilitate more talent throughout the poetic space. And, this season, there are also some incredible singers on hand as always to make each episode epic.
I started watching Verses and Flow about two seasons ago when a friend hipped me to the program. I’ve always been in awe of those who could express their thoughts with words, beats, and flyness. Verses and Flow has cutting edge artists on their stage showcasing their work. And if this season is anything like the previous ones I’ve watched, I know it’s going to be something we are not going to want to miss.
This season includes appearances by DeVon Franklin, Jay R Ellis, Icon Mann, and more (I think I also peeped Malcolm Jamal Warner in one of the previews as well). Singers Maxwell, K. Michelle, Ledisi and more will also be gracing the stage during the season.
And the eye candy on the show is just another bonus (ladies, if you know what I mean)…
Make sure to tune into Verses and Flow engineered by Lexus this Saturday on the cable channel TV One, 10pm EST/9pm CST.
Yup! Best believe I will be front and center to catch the premiere.
