Halloween movies can be a fun way to spend the holiday, especially when you’re done with trick-or-treating and want to snuggle up with the kiddies, and enjoy some family time.

This one is a fave at our home with its fun story of 3 witches who return from 17th century Salem to conjure up some spooky fun. Featuring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as the 3 witches who set out to take the souls of trick-or-treating children, this is a Halloween treat for the whole family!
2. It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
For those of us with young ones at home who scare easily and then, wouldn’t go to bed, a Halloween movie that’s not scary-scary will be a great choice and who better than Charlie Brown, Linus and Snoopy to hang out with as they celebrate a very happy, ”animated” Halloween!!
3. Young Frankenstein
Combining fun with thrill, this spoof on Frankenstein is bound to be ghoulishly fun! Starring Gene Wilder, Teri Garr and Gene Hackman, the parody is a classic and a treat for the whole family!
4. The Dog Who Saved Halloween
A spooky house, weird noises, strange lights and a dog who saves the day. This family movie will be perfect for a dog loving family as they snuggle up together to see Zeus, the adorable dog, save Halloween as he rescues the Bannisters and Halloween!
5. Spooky Buddies
Another one for the kiddies and the doggie lovers, this Disney movie brings the adorable Buddies puppies back as they deal with a Halloween legend and scare! Ghosts, warlocks, and cute talking puppies that deal with it all. Yes, this is a movie that will be best enjoyed snuggled up with both two-legged and four-legged puppies.
