You May Have Missed: This Week on The Cubicle Chick

It’s that time again for another weekly wrap-up post. There’s been a lot going on in the Cube, so I wanted to make sure that you are able to check out content from the last week or so—just in case you missed it.

Mother’s Day Giveaway

I have a fabulous Mother’s Day Giveaway going on currently for a $50 Sephora e-gift card, compliments of Coupons.com. To enter to win, or to learn more about the giveaway, click HERE.

Latest Vlog Update

In episode #4 of my Digital Debutante Series, I discuss my painful migraines. If you have experienced migraines before, then you know how debilitating they can be. Click HERE to watch Lions, Tigers, and Migraines, Oh My!

Kids & Parenting

Teacher Appreciation Day is Tuesday, May 7th. If you are looking for a fun DIY gift idea to make for the teacher in your life, then our DIY & Craft Contributor, Katie Femia, has one for you! It’s a fabulous Crayola Vase that can be filled with flowers, or used as a pen and pencil holder. Neat, fun, and oh so awesome, it is also frugal to make! Find out how you can make our Teacher Appreciation DIY Crayola Vase.

Also, if you are looking for a DIY Sensory Box, then you want to check out this post as well. A sensory box is a great way to sharpen your child’s fine and gross motor skills—-and it’s pretty fun too!

Tech and Stuff

I am currently using Verizon’s new Blackberry Z10 device, the first Blackberry with 4G LTE capabilities. I created a quick video of the features that I liked the best. For you you diehard Blackberry fans, you may be in for a treat! The video review is below, or you can click HERE to watch.

Personal Stuff

On  my other blog, DanyelleLittle.com, I wrote a post about a near-death experience I had recently. And while I wish I was just saying this for dramatics sake, it really did happen. Read more about my experience.

Career

For my entrepreneur folk and those readers who may want to launch their own start-up, but are afraid to leave their corporate jobs because of health insurance, I have a post just for you, called 5 Health Insurance Options for Entrepreneurs. Read it, and if you find value in the article, share with others. It has pretty practical and sound advice if I don’t say so myself.

Now, I also have a personal appeal. I am trying to hit a benchmark of 2,000 FB followers by the end of this month. So many of you read and share my content across your networks (I am so appreciative), and I would love it if you would also share my Facebook page and encourage your friends to ‘like’ my page. Pretty please with sugar on top? My Facebook page is http://www.facebook.com/TheCubicleChick. 🙂

That’s all for now. If you think the content shared in this post is worthy, please forward it to your network stream or community.

Until next time…. 🙂
