Making Family Dinners EPIC Takes Creativity #NewTraDish #Spon

This post is a compensated and sponsored post. The opinions/views shared belong to me, and are not indicative of the sponsor.

I’ve gone on record before by saying that I wasn’t always the mom who had a hot dinner on the stove every night. It wasn’t until the last three years that I began making a conscious effort to prepare more meals at home, dinners that are healthier and are liked by my brood. We all have different likes and tastes, so creating menus that we all like has been a bit of a chore; but I also appreciate the time we spend together as a family bonding over meals I’ve prepared, and that feeling trumps just about everything else.

Italian dishes like spaghetti and lasagna are definitely meals that we all love, so they are both on rotation. I’ve found a way to utilize sauce in all kinds of dishes, including stuffed peppers and loaded garlic bread. I appreciate the family feel that Ragú has always been known for, and I love how they encourage families to make mealtime a priority, which helps create easy meals in a snap. Ragú® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce now has 11 juicy tomatoes in each jar, making it their thickest and richest recipe yet. I am letting my culinary creativity run free while in the kitchen while cooking with Ragú.

Stuffed "Belle" Peppers

Our family dinners are often chaotic as we have so much going on. In order to calm the mood, I usually try to add some dinner music (which my tween loves), or I even add place cards to the table to shake things up a bit. We also have a basket of questions that my daughter made, and we all take turns asking one another two to three questions during mealtime, which makes for interesting dinner convo and #NewTraDish (or new traditions).

No matter your family, being creative goes a long way when bonding during dinnertime.

You can visit the Ragú Facebook page here to get delicious recipe ideas your family will love. You can also enter Ragú Better and Better Sweepstakes for a chance to win for a chance to win great Authentic Italian themed prizes, including a grand prize trip to Venice for a family of four. How awesome is that?

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  Legal residents of the 50 United States (D.C.) 18 years and older.  Ends 5/6/14.  To enter and for Official Rules, including odds, alternate method of entry, and prize descriptions, visit www.RaguSweeps.com.  Void where prohibited.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Ragú® Official New Tra-Dish. The opinions and text are all mine.
