Cube Weekend: Bath & Body Works’ ‘Into the Wild’ + New Crop Highlights

I love a crisp and fresh scent that makes me smile whenever I catch a whiff. I found that in ‘Into the Wild’, Bath and Body Works’ newest scent for the summer season. Released in May, this collection of floral mixed with fruity smells (ala mango) feeds the senses and makes you feel as if you are on an exotic adventure.

I purchased the ‘Into the Wild’ triple moisture body cream along with the scented body spray before my trip to Los Angeles last week and I fell in love with it. The sensual and airy notes of the fragrance play well against my body chemistry, and I have used it frequently these last few days. BBW’s Country Chic had me at hello but Into the World is my new obsession.

I am telling you Cubes, this is a must-have scent! (the lotion retails for $14.00; body spray is $12.00)

In addition to trying something new fragrance wise, I also decided to add a little flair to my curly crop by adding some highlights to the equation. When I first sat in my stylist’s chair, I was shocked at the broad contrast in the mirror. But now that I have had it for a little over a week, I kinda like it. I am not sure if I will be getting it again (maybe a more subtle mix of color next time) but it does lighten me up a little.

Here’s a peek of the highlights. What ya think?

i like your hair. I am color shy as well, so I never get it. New style are always uncomfortable at first but you’ll get used to it & just tweak it a little

Brandi, thanks for commenting. I think the next time I get it done, it won’t include highlights. The highlights are tracks because I didn’t want to commit to coloring my hair—I think it’s a tad too bright. If I do color, I am going to done a darker shade to mix with my dark hair.

ladies I understand your apprehension toward color but trust the color works for the summer, it looks really good.
