Last year, I began watching Monster In-Laws, a real life series focused on families and their over-the-top in-laws who like to bust in and take over. Shown with brutal honesty in a dramatic fashion, Monster In-Laws will make you cringe at some of the antics taking place, but makes for very interesting television.

Sweetie Pie’s is set in my hometown of St. Louis and features Miss Robbie, her son Tim, her nephew Charles, and her daughter-in-law Jenea as they work together to run the family restaurant, which has now grown to three locations.

NBC’s Fashion Star focuses on 14 designers who “pitch” their original creations to a judging panel consisting of three retailers: H&M, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Mentors to the contestants are fashionista Nicole Ritchie, multimedia star Jessica Simpson, and American fashion designer John Varvatos.
