Now that the holiday season is upon us and shopping for gifts is in full swing, everyone is searching for that perfect present for their special someones. My six year old daughter has fallen in love with Build-A-Bear Workshop and enjoys making special one-of-a-kind furry friends. When I received the opportunity to review the new Build-A-Bear Holiday Collection, my daughter and I became instantly excited—she was able to get a pre-holiday gift and I could bask in the joy of her happiness, if only for a little while.
We made our way to the Build-A-Bear Workshop in the St. Louis Galleria Mall, and it was decided pretty early on that my daughter wanted to make a ‘Clarice’ reindeer which she promptly named Rosie the Reindeer. We even picked out a sound for the reindeer that sang ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’, one of her favorite holiday songs. After bringing her furry friend to life with a heart, we gave her a bath and then went onto the task of selected a few outfits for Rosie.
The Build-A-Bear Workshop Holiday Collection consists of the following friends: Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Clarice the Reindeer, Bumble, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Bearemy, Fairisle Style Snow Hugs Teddy, and Beary Merry Teddy 2010.
What I enjoyed most about Build-A-Bear Workshop is their friendliness and attention to detail. Each child is treated with care and individualism, something that my daughter has come to expect when she comes in to make new friend. AND, I also have fun watching her create a bear that was made especially for her. It’s most awesome.
I can recommend Build-A-Bear Workshop because my daughter simply loves it. And if she loves it and it’s safe, fun, and inexpensive, then I am all for it.
