This Week’s Happy Things: Makeup

During the last week or so, I have fallen in love with a few beauty items that have really made me happy in terms of beauty. Now that I am an avid makeup and beauty purchaser, I have been recommended some really great items that I have fallen in love with. I wanted to share them with you in hopes that you too come to like them as much as I do!

Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash, Extra Black Mascara $22

Being that I’ve only been using mascara for a year or so now, I was having a problem finding one that truly defined my lashes. Make Up For Ever’s Smoky Lash does the trick and then some. Not only do my eyes pop, but my lashes almost look as long as fake ones. I am really happy with this product.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Shadow Pencil, Delinquent $20

Love, love, love this! This product gives you just the right amount of color while going on smooth with no snags. It’s easy to control and lasts all day with the use of eyeshadow primer. I want one in every color!

Urban Decay Brow Box Brown Sugar, $29

Other than getting my lashes waxed or threaded every few weeks, I do nothing with my eyebrows. Well, that was before I purchased the Brow Box by Urban Decay last week. It comes with two shades of brow color fill-in shadow as well as wax and tweezers to get them perfect. It gives a great finishing touch.

Make Up For Ever Lab Shine in D2, #18

This lip gloss is popping! I love the subtle glow of the gloss as well as the shine and diamond crystals. Makes your lips look sweet and sassy. Owww!

Iman Luxury Lip Shimmer in Velvet , $9.99

I bought this lip shimmer (it’s heavier than a gloss) a month ago, but I’m just wearing it now. I love the rich and vibrant color it gives me, and I like the new look it gives me away from my traditional lip gloss look. It’s long lasting and really affordable at only $9.99  at ULTA.

The makeup fiend in me could not pass up these great items and now, my collection is better for it.
