Road-Tripping: We’re On Our Way to Branson

A few weeks ago, I received an exciting email about an opportunity for me and my family to go to Branson, Missouri for the Memorial Day weekend to visit Silver Dollar City, see The Legend of Kung Fu show, and stay at the Hilton Branson Convention Center. Excepting the offer was a no-brainer, and since my seven year old would be out of school, I thought it would be a perfect time for us to road trip together. It’s been awhile since we have been on a vacation together. (my17 year old son opted not to go because he thinks he is “too cool for Branson”.)

And with it being Memorial Weekend, going to Branson is a great way to celebrate and have fun. My aunt and cousin are also joining me, and we plan to relax, take in the sights, and spend some genuine family time with one another.

Stay tuned to a full recap blog post next week with pictures and video. You can also follow my tweets for interesting commentary on our vacay.

Special thanks to Hilton Branson Convention Center for the invite.
