Reality TV competitions are my bag—I love the competitive spirit and the creativeness that ensues. Project Runway is a program that seems to impress me each season with its flair for picking up-and-coming fashion designers who otherwise may not be known. The drama, the cutthroat action, and the heartbreak are sometimes too much for me; but the end result of the fabulous and glam frocks that are created make for great television.
Project Runway begins its 9th season with model Heidi Klum and host Tim Gunn, showing once again why fashion is an art. The new season also holds the return of “Project Runway Allstars”, which will air in one hour episodes.The franchise will also introduce “Project Accessory” which will display the hottest and most fabulous accessory designers on its program.
Fans can also vote all season long on their Season 9 Fan Favorite by tweeting their designers #hashtag on Twitter.
I am not sure if anyone can top my love of Anthony Williams from Season 7 Project Runway (watch my video interview of him HERE), but I will keep an open mind while watching this season. I usually do not agree with the judge’s panel’s decision of who gets cut, but we will see if that changes this year.
The new season of Project Runway premieres Thursday, July 28th at 9pm EST, 8pm CST on Lifetime Television.

Aww.. Rafael Cox is on the Casting Special of Project Runway Season 9……. The contestants on season 9 of Project Runway are so interesting!!.
Heidi is whack! Mixing it up this season means being unnecessarily mean. She announces they like to be a little mean.
You could simply begin the new season, focusing on design, instead of making it like a game show.
Draggypocing 4 people to NY only to eliminate them immediately is ignorant.
Also the judges critic from one designer to the next can be such a demonstration of hypocrisy.
One designs simpleness is elegant, another is a joke.
Heidi is a NAZI, her body could qualify as “perfection” in some regards, it’s boring though and her persona is weak. She’s so safe I question her choices; Victoria’s Secret. If you want to appear unsexy, go buy yourself a bunch of crap at Victoria’s Secret.
