That makes it two novels in five months, and I must say that while I missed my original deadline in February, I am so excited to have this one finished. The support you all showed me during the first release made me warm and fuzzy and so many of you reached out and asked when the next one would be. Well, here you go!

You can purchase 'A Wedding On Clermont Lane' on Amazon Prime, available in paperback for $10.99 and $7.99 for the eBook/Kindle edition. If you'd like a signed copy, a limited amount of copies are available. Hit the link in my bio.

I cannot wait for you to read this one and let me know your thoughts. Jasmine and The Robinson Family are back---and this time, it's for keeps!

My Grown Up Christmas List ’11

We are almost in the full throes of the holiday season and I have already secured my daughter’s first Christmas present. It got me thinking about what I wanted this year. Of course, the season is not about presents or gifts, but this is also a time when my loved ones usually spring for gifts that we normally wouldn’t purchase during regular circumstances. I have so much (and I am so thankful), so it’s hard for me to think of what I would like from Santa this year. There are a few things I would like, most of which is because they are outdated or not working.

My list is in no particular order:

  • New iPod Touch (mine has gone missing)
  • New Louis Vuitton bag for travel/luggage
  • Beats by Dre headphones (pink of course)
  • Time Machine for my Macbook
  • Concert tickets to see Watch the Throne concert with Jay Z and Kanye West in Chicago (Dec. 1st so early gift!)
  • A nice picture of my 17 year old son and I together

Boring list I know, but I am blessed and pretty much have everything a girl could want. When you are an adult, it’s more about the giving than receiving (or at least it is for me!)

I’m struggling coming up with an idea for my birthday, which is later this month! But I have to think of Christmas because my mother-in-law has already asked for our lists. Guess I better put on some Christmas music and my thinking cap – lol!

    Hey Cubicle Chick,

I hope you get plenty of nice things for Christmas this year! Everything on your list and then some. But you’re right, Christmas is not about about gifts – even so, I can truly say that I enjoy giving much more than receiving, so I enjoy Christmas a lot.

My youngest son is 14 and loves to draw. I got one of his drawings and uploaded it to CafePress – and then put it on a tee shirt for him. That will be one of his presents this year. I can’t wait to see his face!

For myself, I just want a few days with my wife and kids. The socks and the aftershave will come in handy though :o).
