Take Your Data on the Go with SanDisk Cruzer Facet & Cruzer Pop

There are two things that I do a lot of: traveling and organizing events. I am in constant need of data storage that I can take with me to venues during events and conferences and on the road when I am working out of town. I need data storage that is effective, reliable, small, with plenty of space.

I utilize the cloud a lot, but there are those times when the Internet isn’t readily available. So having data storage with me that doesn’t require a WiFi connection is important. So when I got the opportunity to review SanDisk’s Cruzer Pop and Cruzer Facet USB Flash Drives, I knew that I could really give a thorough review since I use them more frequently than most people.

Let me tell you that right out of the box, I fell in love with the Cruzer Pop USB Flash Drive. They come in a variety of colors and styles, which is fabulous for a Digital Debutante like myself. It is also very thin and folds to allow the device to fit into your computer. The fashionablity of the USB drive was something that I really take into consideration—just because you are a nerd doesn’t mean you have to look like one. And with SanDisk’s Cruzer Pop and Cruzer Facet USB Flash Drives, you can backup and store your files online in the cloud too, so you are getting the best of both worlds.

Here are the specs:

  • Store and carry photos, music, and more
  • Protect access to your private files with included SanDisk SecureAccess software (you can encrypt your private files)
  • Backup and store files online

Both flash drives work well with PC’s and Macs (I am a Mac girl and had no problem using these USB flash drives).

These devices are perfect for college and high school students, Cubicle Chicks and Dudes, presenters and speakers, and anyone who needs on-the-go storage.

I enjoy using the SanDisk Cruzer Pop and Cruzer Facet because they both are easy to use and not clunky. Oftentimes, previous USB drives are thick and can be hard to use on a laptop or smaller device because they are huge. These USB drives are small and fab, and hardly look like your father’s USB flash drive.

Depending on size, the SanDisk Cruzer Pop and Cruzer Facet ranges from $9.99 and up.

What do you think of these two new USB flash drives?
