Career Wear Curation: Tote and Laptop Bags

Career Wear Curation Tote and Laptop Bags As a woman (or fella) on the move, you probably have come to rely on the use of a tote bag or laptop bag to help you transport your technology and other essentials. Back in the day, I used to hate purchasing laptop bags because they weren’t very aesthetically pleasing. But now there is a hearty and robust selection of both stylish bags that are functional. I’ve compiled a list of fabulous tote and laptop bags that are not only work approved, but can be used for travel and daily use.

OGIO Hampton’s Women’s Tote Bag

hamptons_cobalt__3 I personally purchased this tote bag over a year ago, and I still get asked about it when I’m on the go. The bag is not only cute, but has a compartment for just about everything while still being streamlined and easy to carry. Since it’s a tote bag, you can also use it as a purse if you desire. And it’s roomy so you have space and pockets for everything—laptop, tablet, smartphone, digital camera, and more. I love, love, love, this bag and I’ve recommended it several times to friends, colleagues, and even on this site. For a full review of the OGIO Hampton’s Women’s Tote Bag, click here. It comes in a variety of colors to match your personal style. OGIO, $70.00.

Coach Bleeker Business Tote in Harness Leather

Screen Shot 2014-06-30 at 12.49.49 PM Fellas, I have something for you, too. This sweet leather bag from Coach is just what the doctor ordered. Visually stunning and amazingly helpful, you can make moves whilst showing you’ve got some style. You can hold the bag with the handles or by using straps, which can really help while traveling. Inside pockets allow you to fit in all of your essentials and tech items without missing a beat. Coach, $598.

Classic Herringbone Laptop Tote

When looking to purchase a bag for a friend of mine, I came across this beauty. What I like about this bag is it has that traditional business look with an “upscale edge” without breaking the bank. It is also very functional with a pocket for just about everything inside it’s gorgeous interior. The bag fits up to 16” of laptop hardware and also have pockets for writing utensils, smartphone, tablet, cords and chargers, and a side pocket too for even more storage. It’s a winner. $99.00, Mobile Edge. herringbone-family

OGIO Midtown Women’s Messenger

manhattan_red_5 If a messenger bag is more your style, then this one’s for you. Similar to the Hampton’s Tote, this bag packs a punch but does so fashionably. The interior is quilted and padded for durability, and it fits a 15” laptop alongside your other electronic essentials. I am eyeing this bag for my next purchase. $70.00, OGIO.

Kalio Blue Flower Laptop Tote

KailoCasual Who says laptop bags have to be boring? This bag certainly proves that that is not the case. It’s floral design is a breath of fresh air, yet is still suitable for work. The bag fits up to a 15.4” laptop and has a padded laptop compartment. There are also spaces for credit cards, pens, even beverages. Pretty freaking neat! $79.99, Kailo Chic.

Lug Sprout Carry-All Tote Bag

Screen Shot 2014-06-30 at 1.41.42 PM Is it a tote? Is it a backpack? Is it a messenger bag? Well, it’s actually all three. Which is why I love this bag because it’s versatile and can accommodate many different uses. It’s also casual enough for personal toting and spiffy enough for the office too. It has padded shoulder straps for comfort and soft-lined inside pockets. Fits up to 15.4” laptops with ease. I like it! $87.00, eBags.

I hope my selection of Tote and Laptop Bags has something that catches your fancy.

That makes it two novels in five months, and I must say that while I missed my original deadline in February, I am so excited to have this one finished. The support you all showed me during the first release made me warm and fuzzy and so many of you reached out and asked when the next one would be. Well, here you go!

You can purchase 'A Wedding On Clermont Lane' on Amazon Prime, available in paperback for $10.99 and $7.99 for the eBook/Kindle edition. If you'd like a signed copy, a limited amount of copies are available. Hit the link in my bio.

I cannot wait for you to read this one and let me know your thoughts. Jasmine and The Robinson Family are back---and this time, it's for keeps!
