Happy New Year 2012! First Night St. Louis Photos

Wow, 2012 is officially here!

How did you ring in the New Year? I spent it with my significant other in St. Louis, eating with friends, and then going out on the town to First Night St. Louis 2012 in Grand Center in midtown. There was a band, food, hot chocolate, fun, acrobats, and other unique things to check out. And of course there were the fireworks, which pop off after the countdown ends to the New Year.

Here are a few of my photos from tonight’s event.

First Night Badges

Not sure what she was doing but it was very…interesting.

The Christmas tree in Grand Center

The wonderful First Night Band, The Cadence. They also played last year.

First Night swag

Fireworks!

Acrobats and trampolines

Video—Fireworks and music! So much fun! 🙂

I wish all of my readers a Happy and Prosperous New Year!

I got to see the fireworks from the highway (while I was driving). They were a beautiful sight to see for sure (distracting). Luckily there was hardly anyone on the highway… I didn’t know they had an event like this locally. I will make plans to attend something like this next year! How fun!

Very cool! We don’t have anything like this in Tallahassee (just random sounds of store bought fireworks going off in the distance, lol), so it’s great to see all the celebrations
