Happy Birthday To Me!

Yup! Today marks my 35th birthday. I am still not sure how I am feeling about turning 35 but I feel so blessed to have made it to this day. This birthday marks the whole sensitive side of me—I’m not really a touchie feely or crying type of person but as this day has been approaching, I’ve felt so many things: happy, sad, curious, hopeful, loved…I could go on and on but I won’t. Today marks a milestone in my life and I want to enjoy it as much as I can. I’m officially a “grown woman” now.

How will I be enjoying this day? My plans to take a trip to Atlanta got nixed so I will be spending the weekend downtown doing the romantic thing. AKA, no sleep for me all weekend!

Thank you for the many birthday wishes I’ve received on Twitter, Facebook, and via email. You guys really know how to make a girl feel special.

I am truly grateful! Happy Labor Day Weekend!
