Branson: Our Amazing Road-Tripping Adventure

This post brought to you by Hiltons of Branson. All opinions are 100% mine.

When I received word that I had the opportunity to take my family to Branson for the Memorial Day weekend, I was excited beyond measure. I had never been to Branson before and wanted a vacation to take the family that wasn’t too far away from home. The trip to Branson was right on time, and since we haven’t road-tripped in ages, it was a time for us to bond while on the road.

My 7 year old daughter, myself, my Aunt, and my cousin, all piled into the car and trekked the 3 and a half hour ride from St. Louis to Branson. My 17 year old decided to stay at home because he had plans with his friends.

Once we arrived in Branson, we were treated like royalty. The staff at the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel were so hospitable and everyone made sure our needs were met. And our room was a wonderful condo/suite complete with a living room, separate bedroom with Queen bed, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and two flat screen TVs. We felt quite at home as soon as we nestled into our room.

During our first night, we went to see  Legend of the Kung Fu show and it was breathtaking. The things that these artists can do with their bodies is unreal. My 7 year old really enjoyed the show and it’s appropriate for all ages.

On our second day, we went to Silver Dollar City where we had a ball. My 7 year old got on her first roller coaster and I enjoyed the “old fashioned” feel of the theme park. It was a hot day so we did a lot of lemonade drinking and made sure to get some of their famous barbeque and funnel cake.

We also ate at the fabulous 5-star restaurant Level 2 Steakhouse which is conveniently located inside the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. The food and ambiance was amazing and it was a great way to cap off our evening.

For a great weekend getaway for the family, this was a wonderful trip. And there are awesome packages that include our activities: 4 tickets and exclusive Hilton Family Preshow Access 30 minutes prior to Legend of Kung Fu Show, $25 to the Legend of Kung Fu gift shop, and a 1-night stay at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing or the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel for 2 Adults and 2 Children.

If you want a little more to your package, you can purchase the Branson’s Best Value Package is ideal. This 3-night package for a family of 2 adults and 2 children includes 2-day passes to Silver Dollar City and 4 tickets to the Legend of Kung Fu show for as low as $600.00!

My favorite part of the trip was seeing the Legend of the Kung Fu show, but it was really all fabulous! And I enjoyed spending time with my family.

Check out the pictures/video below and see the fun we had!

So glad you all had a good time. I’m impressed with that hotel – nothing like the other places I’ve stayed in Branson. I realized I’m driving right by Branson on my way to Arkansas this weekend, I should have timed things better and could have stayed down there a couple of days too.
