Labor Day Signals End of Summer: Fall, Come Forth

Labor Day has always been one of my favorite holidays. It usually takes place around my birthday and is a time where we get in some last bit of partying before the end of summer. When Labor Day passes, it usually brings on the onset of fall and all that comes with it. If you know me, then you know that fall is my favorite season of all for many reasons.

I love fall mostly because I adore mild weather—I sweat like a hog during the summertime, and it’s hard for me to be comfortable. The easy fall temps along with the crisp, orange and red leaves, and shorter days do well for my mindstate. Fall is also my favorite season because the clothing options are a plenty. I love boots, oversized sweaters, jeans, blazers, and tights, all items that can be worn in the autumn.

This fall, I plan on getting some more travel in by visiting a few cities including Washington, D.C. and Louisville. In addition, I want to finish a few projects that have been lingering way too long.

Trust me, there’s a lot going on in the cube!

What are you looking forward to most for the fall? And what goals do you want to accomplish this upcoming season?

I hope you have a wonderful and fabulous Labor Day!

    i love fall as well….

the breezes, the sense that my favorite holidays are so near….ahhhh…

i have already started on my fall goals…revamping the flat…was up til the wee hours cleaning, purging, letting go of things (especially clothes) that have been taking of space and leaving dead energy.

today it’s in the 60’s which for me is nirvana

    viva la fall!

Goody, I love how Chicago looks in the fall. Hoping to get in a visit before the winter time comes. Can’t wait to walk down Michigan Avenue in my pea coat and boots.

Ah Fall! I love it… comfortable. Sleep with the windows open, pull the covers up and so cozy. To walk outside and smell the crisp air and feel the leaves under your feet. It is a wonderful season.

Jo Anne, I am with you! There is something about the easiness and vibe of the fall that really makes me feel fabulous. I cannot wait! Thanks for commenting. 🙂

I’m looking forward to the festivals and fairs – I like the pumpkin picking and hayrides and I ADORE Halloween. For the past two years our family has dressed up together and it is fun. I already have our costumes for this year!!

Aisha, we will be taking my 7 year old to the pumpkin patch again this year. We had so much fun last year and made a day of it 🙂

I love fall too. The love the colors and the cool temperatures. Also, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is back at Starbucks. I just wish winter wasn’t far behind. Seems like it comes too quickly and stays a little too long.
