‘The Game’ Returns to Television on BET on 1/11/11

It took me a long time to get into the sitcom The Game when it was on the CW Network. When I did finally begin watching it during the winter of 2008, it was taken off the air in the spring of 2009—just as I was getting into it.

There was buzz for months that the show would return to television on another network, and a large social networking campaign on Twitter and Facebook was born. Due to an overwhelming response by Gamers, BET decided to inherit the series and run it during its network’s line of original programming.

The original cast of The Game (including Tia Mowry, Pooch Hall, Wendy Racquel Robinson, Hosea Chanchez, Brittany Daniel, and Coby Bell), which centers around the fictions football team the San Diego Sabres and the goings on of their players and significant others, have all returned to the series which is taped in Atlanta. BET has been putting their money where their mouth is where the show is concerned and unleashed a large advertising campaign in order to capitalize on the popularity of the show.

I am not sure if The Game will continue it’s clever but kinda corny script line or go another direction. Whatever the case, I will be tuning in to see it’s series premiere and debut on BET tonight, 1/11/11 at 10pm, 9pm CST.

Are ya’ll ready for The Game?

I’ve never really been in to The Game but I have seen a few episodes. I think I’ll be checking it out on BET.

Saw it and felt like it didn’t live up to the hype. I’m giving it another week and then I’m on to the first best thing HGTV or Food Network.

Being new to BET the season was great. They did however change up the characters a lot and I didn’t expect it. I don’t know if I like BET or CW more. Both have done a great job but I expected more from BET and better. I can’t wait to see the new season starting in just 7 days. I’m sure it will be good with Melanie and Derwin trying to have a baby and everything. I can’t wait! I can now put my Sling adapter from DISH to some good use. As a customer and employee of DISH, I really have to recommend the Sling adapter. It is great because you get to watch LIVE TV everywhere you go on your phone or Laptop. Check it out so you never have to miss the new season of The Game. It works miracles for people that are always on the go!

And we have Book #2! My new novel, 'A Wedding On C And we have Book #2! My new novel, 'A Wedding On Clermont Lane', is now available! It's the sequel to my first novel 'Christmas On Clermont Lane', and if you loved the first one, just wait until you read the sequel.

That makes it two novels in five months, and I must say that while I missed my original deadline in February, I am so excited to have this one finished. The support you all showed me during the first release made me warm and fuzzy and so many of you reached out and asked when the next one would be. Well, here you go!

You can purchase 'A Wedding On Clermont Lane' on Amazon Prime, available in paperback for $10.99 and $7.99 for the eBook/Kindle edition. If you'd like a signed copy, a limited amount of copies are available. Hit the link in my bio.

I cannot wait for you to read this one and let me know your thoughts. Jasmine and The Robinson Family are back---and this time, it's for keeps!
