Keeping it Fresh: I am a Member of the Walmart Fresh Crew

TheCubicleChick.com Disclaimer

I am a Member of the Walmart Fresh CrewIt’s no secret that during the last year or so, I’ve been minding my P’s and Q’s as it relates to nutrition and eating more healthy. I understand that my habits also directly affect those of my child, so the things I choose to eat and prepare for my family need to be foods that are not only good tasting, but good for her too. By preparing more meals at home and being more mindful of the nutritional value and freshness gives me more control over what my family eats. I am all for good food that is fresh and healthy.

I was recently asked to be a member of the Walmart Fresh Crew. As part of the Fresh Crew, it is my role to share information about Walmart’s new Fresh Produce Guarantee in their stores located here in America. Walmart has launched new efforts that will ensure quality and freshness of the fruits and vegetables in their stores. This is in part of a commitment Walmart has made to make food healthier and healthier food more affordable (click here to read more). As a part of that effort, Walmart has saved their customers more than 2.3 billion dollars over the last two years on fresh veggies and fruit purchased in their produce sections within their U.S. stores.

On this blog, I will be sharing my visit to my local Walmart store’s produce section, where I will meet with the manager of the department to discuss their Fresh Produce Guarantee, and tour the department to see up close the fresh veggies and fruit being offered. I will also share information on how Walmart gets their produce from farms across the country, and how it is quality tested for freshness. Being a member of the Fresh Crew means that I work as an avenue between my readers and Walmart to help share information and answer any questions you may have about this new effort.

Here’s more about Walmart’s Fresh Produce Guarantee:

Walmart backs its fresh produce promise with a 100 percent money-back guarantee. If customers are not completely satisfied with Walmart’s produce, they can bring back their receipt for a full refund. No questions asked and no need to bring back the produce.

I will be meeting with my local Walmart store very soon. If you have any questions you’d like me to ask the manager in regards to the Fresh Produce Guarantee, or their produce, please leave a comment below.

Oooh love this! I became a fan Great Value when hubby and I 1st lived on one income several years ago. We learned that they were just as good, and sometime better than the brands we were used purchasing. We continued with GV even after I got a job, and now that I’m a SAHM we’re still loving it. I’m excited to see more from this opportunity because ever since I started #operationbodyback and the Fast Metabolism Diet I’ve been cooking more and noticing that my Walmart, and especially the one on Highway K has an AMAZING selection of healthy and fresh items that I honestly was not expecting. #nomnomnom & congrats!
