Samsung Health Ask an Expert is a Must Use Working Parent Hack

If you are a busy mom or dad, then you've got to get acquainted with Samsung Health Ask an Expert. It's like having an Urgent Care on your phone.

Sponsored by Samsung via MomTrends.

Many of you may have heard the term, life comes at you fast. When you are a working parent, it comes at you like a mack truck. With so many things pulling at you, it is a wonder that we get anything done! Add to that our busy schedules and an endless task of to-do’s, we often take care of ourselves last.

Recently, I found myself so busy that I actually forgot about a doctor’s appointment that I had. After waiting two weeks to get in to see the doctor about nasal issues, I missed the appointment. That is when I turned to my smartphone and cued up the Samsung Health app.

As a Samsung phone owner, you may already be acquainted with this helpful tool. It helps to track things like your steps, sleep, calories, and more. It also works with other fitness tech like MyFitnessPal, my personal favorite. But did you know that with Samsung Health, you can also see a board-certified doctor? Ask an Expert (online doctor visits) on Samsung Health is covered by many health plans, and doctors can even issue prescriptions via your local pharmacy.

If you are a busy mom or dad, then you've got to get acquainted with Samsung Health Ask an Expert. It's like having an Urgent Care on your phone.

For busy working parents, this is an amazing app to have right at your fingertips. Convenient, easy to use, and already built in to your Samsung device.

With Ask an Expert, you don’t need an appointment. And because Samsung Health tracks a lot of your biometric data, this information is shared with the Ask an Expert doctor. Get a consult whenever you need it, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Since I missed my doctor appointment to discuss recent allergy symptoms I’ve been having, I opened up Samsung Health to consult with an Ask an Expert doctor. We discussed possible causes (I have asthma which can cause drainage at times), and how I can work to clear my nasal passages for better breathing and relief.

Use Ask an Expert to talk about conditions like eczema, cold, sore throat, flu, cough, sinus issues, bronchitis—pretty much anything that you would go to Urgent Care for.

Even if you or your family aren’t sick, you can still use this service to get valuable medical advice or to discuss things like the upcoming flu season.

I have a special code that allows for you to get $10 off of an Ask an Expert session. The regular price for a consult is $59, so you’ll get it for only $49. Use code SAMSUNG16, and earn Samsung Rewards Points (for a limited time) while you’re at it.

If you are a busy working mom or dad, I highly recommend Samsung Health and Ask an Expert as a must use working parent hack for sure. Use it when you need it, no appointment needed.

My cousin was actually just telling me about this last week. She had pink eye, and couldn’t get herself to the dr because her daughter was sick with a stomach virus. She used this and loved it.

I like the idea of Ask An Expert, especially because you don’t have to make an appointment. I hate going in to an office and waiting forever.
