TCC Weight Loss Blog Week-4

I cannot believe I am a month deep into my weight loss regimen. It has been a hard journey thus far but so far, the results have been positive. Let me let you in on what I’ve been doing:

The first week I spent weaning myself off of soda. I didn’t really limit my eating habits that week, my soda intake was most important.

The second week, I concentrated on weaning myself off of caffeine period. No tea, coffee, etc. This was a hard week because I was plagued with headaches. I got through it though!

I have been drinking nothing but water (and skim milk during breakfast and a cup of hot non decaffeinated green tea at night) for three weeks! I’ve never had so much water in all of my life!

The third week was buckling down on my eating habits. Limiting my calories, eating healthy and not going overboard.

This week, I have been focusing on incorporating excercising with my new healthy eating lifestyle change. Walking, running, and working out 2o minutes every other day.

So far, I have lost 12.5 lbs, most of which I am sure is water weight. My goal is to lose 25-30 lbs and to keep it off.

Pictures will be forthcoming. I will be displaying before and after photos!

Do you have any advice for me in order to lose weight? Any foods or recipes to recommend? Comment below please and help a sister out!

Congrats on sticking with the diet. It is never easy in the start to stop eating or drinking what your body is so used too.

That's awesome, congratulations! I'm actually looking to initiate a weight loss program for myself once I get back to school next week, and this is a total inspiration! Thanks so much, and good luck to getting to your goal! 🙂

Congrats on 12.5 lbs! I'm also on a diet program that doesn't allow caffeine and that was really challenging in the beginning. But don't you feel great now?
