The Benefits of Liquid Chlorophyll-My Story

What are the benefits of liquid chlorophyll you ask? I've been using it for over a month now and I am pleased with the results.

Have you taken your vitamins today?

If you follow me on Twitter, you may notice that I ask that question on a regular basis. Over the course of the past year, I’ve formed a newfound appreciation for vitamins and how they can improve your health and wellness while helping to boost immunity. In searching for natural health remedies, I came across liquid chlorophyll in a Facebook group, and it was highly lauded for a variety of reasons. I went on my own fact-finding mission and began doing my research.

Liquid chlorophyll has gotten a lot of attention recently due to a TikTok video that went viral showcasing the positives of taking it daily, so it’s a little harder to find these days.

According to Healthline, liquid chlorophyll plays an important role in making plants green and healthy. It also has vitamins, antioxidants, and therapeutic properties that have the potential to benefit your body.

I’ve been using it for about 30 days now, and I think I am a fan. While its health benefits are aplenty, I have truly seen a difference in my body. Here are some of the benefits of liquid chlorophyll I’ve experienced:

Clearer skin

This has been the biggest benefit for taking liquid chlorophyll. My skin is prone to breakouts around my cycle, and I also suffer from hyperpigmentation on my cheek area. Since I’ve started using LC, my skin has cleared up considerably and the dark spots on my face are improving. I have less breakouts and my skin has been the clearest it’s been in years.

I am very happy about this.

Better digestion

The older I get, the more I have to deal with digestion issues and constipation when I eat certain foods. Since using liquid chlorophyll, I’ve noticed that I my tummy handles these foods better and I’ve been pretty regular. This is also a very good affect.

Fresher breath

Experts call liquid chlorophyll a “natural deodorizer”, and I have found this also to be true. It helps freshens from the inside out, and fresher breath is definitely a plus.

Are there any cons? I haven’t found but one (so far) and that is it stains. It’s pretty difficult to avoid getting it on your hands, and it does stain quite a bit. I’ve had to wash my hands a few times for the green color on my fingers to go away. You will also notice after using LC that your poo is green, which can freak some people out, so be warned.

Before using liquid chlorophyll, you may want to consult your doctor or physician first. I use the Peppermint version of it, as it can be quite strong otherwise. You can take it as is, or add to water or juice. Follow the directions on the bottle for the best results.

I purchased my 16 oz bottle on Amazon and I find that it’s easier to use with a dropper (it can get messy, and remember, it stains). I fill up this smaller bottle (which can also be used for travel) and use the dropper to take my dose everyday. After opened, it is recommended that you keep it refrigerated, or in a cool place.

Now that you know the benefits of liquid chlorophyll, what are your thoughts? Are you going to add it to your daily regimen? Let me know in the comments.

Save for later
