EdgeStick Professional Styling Comb Review & Giveaway

As many of you know, I am in the midst of transitioning my hair to a natural state. Right now, my hair is almost half and half and there are times when I want to flatten or straighten out the root in order to wear a chignon or a smoother style. Not wanting to apply too much heat on my hair in only a limited area, I usually bypass those styles but now I don’t have to.

The EdgeStick professional styling comb is a ceramic device with small teeth that can straighten or smooth down edges or small sections of hair. Because of its small size, it virtually eliminates burns. There is a neat digital temperature control on the unit and is designed for all hair types and textures.

Because of its small comb like teeth, it can grasp hair in small sections and straighten them to a smooth finish. It doesn’t just straighten, though. If you are like me and just want a smoother root but not necessarily a straight one, the EdgeStick can do that for you. You can make it as straight or as loose as you want by controlling the temperature in the strokes in which you use it. And because it is ceramic, it seals in moisture and makes your hair shiny and manageable.

See for yourself the results on my 6 yr old’s hair which is also natural. I straightened her edges two weeks after she got her hair washed and flat ironed. I found the device easy to use and my daughter did not wince or complain. I was very impressed with the end result on her hair.

The EdgeStick unit is light and comes with a nice carrying case good for travel or storage.

The EdgeStick retails for $79.00 and comes in two colors—black and white. TCC readers have the opportunity to enter to win their own unit in black which will be shipped out by EdgeStick.

The unit will then be shipped out by EdgeStick. If the winner does not contact me within the time allotted, another winner will be chosen.

I would love to have the edgestick because I am in the process of transitioning and that is my number one issue that makes me think about getting a relaxer but I think this is a great invention that I would love to try.

I follwed The Cuicle Chick & EdgeStick as instructed. I am completely natural, & after 14 months of growing it out I can finally put my hair into a ponytail or bun! I would like to win an EdgeStick to help me get my edges to lay down and pull back into my bun.

A lifelong relaxer who has been Natural for 1 full yr. (and Going Strong) and loving EVERY MINUTE OF IT, I would love to win the Edgestick to use for the times when I do “ATTEMPT” to straighten my hair (especially the roots) without burning my scalp, my hand, or my ear (Especially since I’ve never been too great with a Flat iron!!!) Not to mention, it looks very sleek and non-bulky…..perfect for using without my having aching arm muscles! (I’m following and subscribing while simultaneously crossing my fingers Luvs!)

I would like the edgestick to give to my daughter as a birthday present. She will be turning 20 on the 3rd of November and as a full time student, she doesn’t have a lot of money to purchase quality products for her hair or even go to the hair dresser. As a single mom who is also a full time student, I don’t have the extra funds either. My daughter has beautiful hair and she does take really good care of it. This would help her a lot with the upkeep of her hair. I researched this product and also found that you can get close to the edges without burning your skin. I would love to see my daughter without the scab marks around her hairline. She has really thick and long hair and the Edgestick would be the perfect tool for her.
