There’s no place like Walt Disney World.
The magic, pixie dust, and all around wonderfullness that is WDW is captivating and memorable. I’ve been to Disney World many times, but it’s like the first time every time. Even when traveling for business, I manage to get in some fun!
Recently I was at Walt Disney World for the Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit (click HERE for coverage), a three-day experience for professional women of color. The conference was amazing, and I learned a lot and made quite a few contacts and connections. I stayed at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and would make the 7-minute trek over to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club each day where the conference was held. I did so in the fly, fabulous, and versatile 2018 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring.
Like me, there are many sides to this vehicle. It can be playful, utilitarian, sporty, economizing, roomy, and stylish! A crossover with this many sides deserves some kudos!
With two rows of backseats which can be moved to make room for more cargo, the 2018 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring is easy on the eyes and the wallet, too. It’ll get you an average of 32 miles per gallon highway and 22 miles per gallon on the street.
I enjoyed cueing up my favorite tunes via Bluetooth and making my way to various locations throughout Walt Disney World. I visited a few destinations including Disney Springs, Animal Kingdom, and of course Magic Kingdom.
Once the conference was over, I spent Saturday making magic at the most wonderful and magical place on earth. I arrived just in time for the Move It! Shake It! Dance & Parade on Main Street USA.
I pretty much spent the day all over at Fantasyland (my favorite), Tomorrowland, Adventureland, Liberty Square, and Frontierland. I saw the Hall of Presidents for the first time, too!
My day was full of fun and once I wore myself out, I headed back to the resort easily in my ride. I was in and out of the Magic Kingdom in no time. There are advantages of driving your own vehicle to the parks.
