A Little Help for the Holidays from Kraft: Holiday Fiesta Nachos

There’s something about the holiday season that makes me want to stay in the kitchen and cook. As a former takeout mom, over the last year, I have been devoted to cooking more home-cooked meals for my family. But during the holiday season, I seem to cook even more, as I am also throwing holiday parties and entertaining guests. I love making meals for my loved ones that they enjoy, and I’ve found out that I am actually an awesome cook—who knew?

Kraft is making it easier this year by offering coupons and savings for many of their products. From Kraft® Shredded Cheese, to Miracle Whip® Dressing , Gevalia® Coffee, Planters® Peanut Butter, and more, you can save up to $20 at Target on participating Kraft products.

One of my favorite things to make during the holidays are Holiday Fiesta Nachos. They make a great meal or appetizer for guests and holiday events, and it is pretty simple to make and only takes about 20 minutes to prepare.

Here’s the recipe:

1 Bag of Nachos (ones with red and yellow chips for a festive look)

1.5 pounds of lean ground sirloin (you can also use ground turkey or chicken as well)

1 Bag of Kraft® Sharp Shredded Cheese

1 packet of Taco Seasoning

Sour Cream (to taste)

Lettuce (to taste)

Olives (to taste)

Onions and other veggies (to taste)

Simply brown the ground beef and rinse of excess grease. Mix in the taco seasoning and follow the cooking directions on the packet. Apply the nacho chips on a platter and top with your meat minxture, Kraft® Sharp Shredded Cheese, and all of the toppings. Serve. You can place the toppings buffet style and allow your guests to create their own nacho platters.

For coupons for the above-mentioned Kraft foods, visit http://coupons.target.com/kraft-coupons. It’s a great way to save money while providing awesome meals this season.

If you will be entertaining this holiday season, here are some more appetizer ideas from Kraft:

Here’s to a Happy Holiday Season!

From shopping for gifts to planning family dinners, it’s hard to keep up with all your holiday to-do’s. This year, Kraft is helping out with great weeknight meals and entertaining ideas to make the season a little bit easier. Plus, Kraft is offering up to $20 in coupons, redeemable exclusively at Target, to make food shopping easier and to help you have a happy holiday season.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Kraft. The opinions and text are all mine.
